Description
I made this animal up in a geography class a few years back. Since then they have been doodled on many jotters, folders and worksheets. They like to eat limpets and beasts, and they have a giggle that sounds like 'nyehehehe'.
I have seen several different dog/shark hybrids about, funnily enough! Seems to be a common pair of animals to splice. I'm not surprised, the result is always cool.
Made from Sculpey and painted with acrylics. I mixed a little spot of pearly paint in with it, so the dogshark has a hint of shininess to it. The painting is a little sloppy, but overall I'm pleased with it.
After the clay was baked, I used a needle to scratch and carve out the details of the teeth, which was fun and worked quite well so I might do that more in the future! It is about 8 inches long.
